One acre of hemp produces four times the amount of paper as trees and takes only four months to grow vs. twenty years to grow trees, thus generating 240 times the equivalent production. On an annual basis, 1 acre of hemp will produce as much fiber as 2-3 acres of cotton, and hemp fiber is stronger and softer than cotton, lasts twice as long, and will not mildew.
